James and Elizabeth Mullen's Family
James Mullen is believed to be born in 1737 in New London, Conn., and died in 1805 in Pennsylvania. He married Elizabeth (Unknown). They had the following children:
Catherine (b. abt. 1760) married Oliver Bennett in 1777. One of Catherine's brother-in-laws also went to Genoa Twp, Delaware Co., Ohio, along with Catherine's brothers. Oliver and Catherine Bennett are buried in Red Bank Cemetery in Genoa Twp., Delaware Co., Ohio. Catherine and Oliver Bennett had the following children: Henry (b.1788), Isaac (b. 1792), Elizabeth (b. 1793), James (b. 1795), John (b. 1797), Leah (b. 1801) and Elisha (b. 1804).
Isaiah (b. abt. 1760) married Elizabeth Roberts in 1787 near Gwynedd, PA. They had Charles, Isaiah (who married Mary Ann Boyd and died in MI), John, Amy, Mary (who married Alexander Torbert) and Jane, 1781-1851, (who married Jacob Whiteman and lived in White Clay Creek, Delaware).

Benjamin (b. abt. 1775) settled in Franklin Co., Ohio and moved in 1831 to Hancock County, Ohio. His information is on the home page.

Thomas (b. abt 1782) married Rebecca and moved to Genoa Twp., Delaware Co., Ohio, about 1810. Their information is on the home page.
